Last night in a quiet Market Place, the Mayor and Mayoress of Louth, Councillor Darren and Mrs. Sarah-Jayne Hobson, were delighted to undertake the annual switching-on of the Christmas tree lights along with a guest who made a surprise entrance!

 

The Mayor of Louth usually switches on the town’s Christmas Lights at the Christmas Market amidst celebrations, singing and entertainment. This year Covid restrictions have meant the big switch on could not go ahead. However, the Mayor and Mayoress of Louth, Councillor Darren and Mrs. Sarah-Jayne Hobson still switched on the Christmas Tree lights which lit up the beautiful market town of Louth, along with a guest who made a surprise entrance! With thanks to the generosity of local businesses: Strawson’s Woodland (Cawthorpe and Ravendale), GRS Electrical, North Lincs Engineering, Foxhall Construction, Brocklebank Reclaims, A J Embroidery and Louth Building Supplies who kindly contribute to the Christmas atmosphere in Louth.
