MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE

HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH

ON TUESDAY 25^th APRIL 2023

• Apologies for Absence
  Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs. LMC, JG, DJEH, DH, GEH, HF, LF, DEW
• Declarations of Interest / Dispensations
  The following declarations of interest were made:
  1. Mrs. JMS – agenda items 4, 5, 6 – as a member of ELDC.
  2. AL – agenda items 4, 5, 6 – as a member of ELDC and PA2 – as an acquaintance of the applicant.
  3. Mrs. PFW – PA3 – as a neighbour.

 

• Minutes
  It was RESOLVED that the notes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 4^th April 2023 be approved as the Minutes.
• Applications received by the Local Planning Authority
  The Committee considered all planning applications received, including those listed on the schedule (PA/Schedule 04-25-23) and RESOLVED to support all applications.

      LOCATION & NATURE OF RESTRICTION:  Road Closure Order in place on: SP013 Westgate, Louth and SP028 Linden Walk, Louth
      PERIOD OF RESTRICTION: 7/5/2023 (Restrictions to be implemented as & when required during periods above, signage detailing accurate dates & times will be displayed on site in advance)
2. Withdrawn Application
   2023. Notification received that N/105/00175/23 – ELDC – Meridian Leisure Centre, Wood Lane, LN11 8SA – was withdrawn on 18^th April 2023.

• Proposed Works to Trees
  The Committee considered the following proposed works to trees and resolve to support:
  1. Location: 10 Somersby Court Proposal: T1 and T2 – Cherry – Reduce height from 8m to 7m and diameter from 8m to 6m. Reasons: To allow clearance from the road and sheds whilst retaining uniform shape.
  2. Location: 159 Eastgate Proposal: T1 – Ash – Fell. Reasons: Significant active basal decay/cavity.
