MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH
ON TUESDAY 3rd JANUARY 2023
Present Councillor Mrs. E. Ballard (EB) (in the chair).

Councillors not present: Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders (JMS), D. Wing (DEW). S. Crew (SC), G. Horton (GEH), Mrs. S.E. Locking (SEL),
The Town Clerk, Mrs. L.M. Phillips was also present.
- Apologies for Absence
Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs: SC, GEH, SEL, JMS - Declarations of Interest / Dispensations

- Committee Minutes
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the Governance and Finance Committee Meeting held on 22nd November 2022 be approved as the Minutes. - Budget 2023/24
The Committee received and discussed draft budget figures which had already been thoroughly considered by FOG. It was RESOLVED upon a recommendation from FOG to:- Put the tabled draft budget to the Town Council with an amendment to the budget for Christmas Lights which would result in a proposed precept request for 2023/24 of £300,082.
- Propose to Town Council that a further £8,500 be ring fenced from General Reserves in the Earmarked Reserves, as per the tabled documentation.
- Next Meeting
It was noted that the next scheduled meeting of the Governance and Finance Committee would take place on 21st February 2023.
