MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH
ON TUESDAY 3^rd JANUARY 2023

Councillors not present: Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders (JMS), D. Wing (DEW). S. Crew (SC), G. Horton (GEH), Mrs. S.E. Locking (SEL),

 

The Town Clerk, Mrs. L.M. Phillips was also present.

 

• Apologies for Absence
  Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs: SC, GEH, SEL, JMS
• Declarations of Interest / Dispensations
  AL – As a Member of the Hubbard’s Hills Trust.

 

• Committee Minutes
  It was RESOLVED that the notes of the Governance and Finance Committee Meeting held on 22^nd November 2022 be approved as the Minutes.
• Budget 2023/24
  The Committee received and discussed draft budget figures which had already been thoroughly considered by FOG. It was RESOLVED upon a recommendation from FOG to:
  82. Put the tabled draft budget to the Town Council with an amendment to the budget for Christmas Lights which would result in a proposed precept request for 2023/24 of £300,082.
  83. Propose to Town Council that a further £8,500 be ring fenced from General Reserves in the Earmarked Reserves, as per the tabled documentation.
• Next Meeting

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting of the Governance and Finance Committee would take place on 21^st February 2023.
