MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL EXTRAORDINARY GOVERNANCE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH
ON TUESDAY 3rd JANUARY 2023

- Committee Minutes
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the Governance and Finance Committee Meeting held on 22nd November 2022 be approved as the Minutes.
- Budget 2023/24
The Committee received and discussed draft budget figures which had already been thoroughly considered by FOG. It was RESOLVED upon a recommendation from FOG to:
- Put the tabled draft budget to the Town Council with an amendment to the budget for Christmas Lights which would result in a proposed precept request for 2023/24 of £300,082.
- Propose to Town Council that a further £8,500 be ring fenced from General Reserves in the Earmarked Reserves, as per the tabled documentation.
- Next Meeting
It was noted that the next scheduled meeting of the Governance and Finance Committee would take place on 21st February 2023.
