Louth Town Council - Working with the community to make Louth a better place to live and work

The Active Travel Scheme – Have Your Say

1st September 2022

LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL NEEDS YOU to assist in building a campaign to encourage Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) and East Lindsey District Council (ELDC) to really hear the public’s voices in relation to measures introduced in Louth town centre. These measures, such as the removal of parking bays in the town centre and the installation of seating parklets in Mercer Row were implemented by LCC as a part of the Active Travel Scheme.  Louth Town Council want to work with the community to find solutions for consideration by LCC and ELDC. The Council is aware that there are many different opinions about the scheme, and as such, it seems necessary to obtain as many views as possible.

The Town Council has created two short surveys; one for town centre businesses and the second for Louth residents and visitors to Louth.

If you would like to make your views known, please complete the relevant survey online, which can be accessed from:

Active Travel Scheme Surveys

A hard copy version of the survey can also be downloaded from the website or you can call the Town Council offices on 01507 355895 for a copy to be sent to you. The survey runs until the end of September 2022.
