Louth Town Council - Working with the community to make Louth a better place to live and work

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2022 – 13th November

Sunday 13th November 2022
A short service led by the Rector of Louth, Rev’d. Cameron Watt, will take place at Louth War Memorial from 10.30am. Wreaths will be laid by veterans, town organisations and members of the public. A two minute silence, which provides a unique opportunity for us to reflect on lives lost during all the Wars in which this country has fought, will be observed at 11am. Those assembled will then parade to St. James’ Church for Divine Service, which will take place at 11.20am.

The War Memorial has new poppy garlands this year which have been kindly made from the recycled wreaths from 2021 by Cllr. Darren Hobson and his family.Remembrance Sunday 2022
