A short service of Thanksgiving at 9pm in St James, with a premiere of the RSCM Jubilee Anthem, will culminate with Bugler, Choir, Bells and the lighting of the Beacon on the north side of church outside. by the Mayor of Louth. He will light the beacon in celebration of this moment and to pay tribute to Her Majesty along with more than 1,500 beacons that will be lit throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and UK Overseas Territories, and one in each of the capital cities of Commonwealth countries in recognition of The Queen’s long and selfless service.
