Mayoral visit to thank the Louth Primary Schools

17th June 2020
Louth’s Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Darren and Mrs. Sarah-Jayne Hobson, visited each of the three primary schools/academies in the town last week following up on their walk-about around the town.

Cllr. Hobson, who was for many years a primary school teacher in Louth, was delighted to have the opportunity to find out first-hand about some of the challenges that the schools were up against and how they are currently facilitating some children being back in school.

The Mayor and Mayoress thanked the children and staff from St Michael’s, Kidgate and Laceyfields Academy (whilst socially-distancing) for all the effort and hard work they had given during the lock-down period.
