Mayor of Louth, Councillor Mrs. Karen Parsons, joined staff at Nottingham Building Society for a morning of coffee, cake and fundraising in support of Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship event.

The team at Nottingham Building Society gathered to support the cause, baking and serving a wide range of sweet treats to raise money for Macmillan’s critical services – including specialist nursing, financial guidance, and emotional support for individuals and families affected by cancer.

The mayor said “The team have been busy baking and are endeavouring to reach their target of £1000. Good Luck team, its my pleasure to support you! Thank you for organising the event and thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a vital cause!
