The Mayor of Louth commented, “The Mayoress and I were delighted to spend during the morning with the fabulous team at the Salvation Army who are busy preparing hot lunches ready to deliver to members of our community that are at home over the Christmas period. The Louth branch of the Salvation Army have worked alongside the wonderful staff at our town’s Morrisons to provide a vast array of goodies to around 40 households. The meals and snacks will be much-appreciated by those individuals and, perhaps more importantly, they will get to see a friendly face in person when their deliveries arrive which will go a long way in making them feel less isolated at this very special time of the year.”
