Louth Town Council is so proud to see our wonderful town coming together for Turn Louth Pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raising funds for Cancer Research!
Turn Louth Pink is an annual local campaign held every October to raise vital awareness for breast cancer and collect donations for Cancer Research UK. From pink window displays and local landmarks lighting up, to wear-it-pink days at local businesses and schools. Residents unite to paint the town pink to show their solidarity with everyone affected by breast cancer. Here at Sessions House we have turned pink outside and, with help from local business Leaf who kindly loaned us some beautiful pink décor, inside too for one night only, as Councillors met to raise funds for donation.
It is truly inspiring to see our town and local communities rallying together for such an important cause. Every single pound raised brings us closer to better treatments, early detection and ultimately a cure.
Let’s keep the momentum going all month long! How are you taking part in Turn Louth Pink? Show us your pics in the comments…
