MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH
ON THURSDAY 28th MAY 2026

Councillors present: Mrs. E. Ballard (Mrs. EB), J. Drake (JD), Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders, Cllr. D. Moore,

Councillors not present: Cllrs. JB and PS

H40. Election of Chairman
In the absence of Cllr. Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED that Cllr. GEH take the chair for the meeting.

H41. Apologies for Absence
Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs. JB and PS.

H42. Declarations of Interest / Dispensations
There were no declarations of interest or requests for dispensations made.

NB Cllr. Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders arrived at 1.02pm.

H43. Closed Session Item
At 1.03pm upon a proposal by Cllr. Mrs. EB, seconded by Cllr. JD, it was RESOLVED to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 in order to discuss confidential information relating to third parties in relation to Personnel:
a. Vacancy for Maintenance Assistant/Gravedigger.
Following interviews for the above position the Committee received recommendations from the interview panel and after discussion, it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to appoint Paul Heenan.

At 1.12pm it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to move back into open session.

H44. Next Meeting
It was noted that the next Personnel Committee meeting would be take place on Tuesday 28th July 2026.

The Meeting Closed at 1.13pm.
