Louth Town Council - Working with the community to make Louth a better place to live and work

In Loving Memory of Pauline Watson

In Loving Memory of

PAULINE WATSON

Councillor of Louth Town Council

It is with great sadness that we announce the sad and sudden loss of our councillor and former Mayor, Pauline Watson, who passed away on the morning of Friday 8th May.  Councillor Mrs. Pauline Watson served as the Mayor of Louth for the municipal year 2017.  She was a true advocate for our town, tirelessly working towards its betterment and the welfare of its residents.  She was elected on to the Town Council in 1999 and had served ever since.  During that time, she was also a County Councillor and a District Councillor and at one point all three at the same time.  She was a respected Councillor whose knowledge and experience were highly valued.  Her dedication to public service and the well-being of our community went above and beyond.  She was a force to be reckoned with in local government, and she touched the lives of countless people in a positive way.

She will be missed.

Upon her passing, she leaves behind her husband, Stuart, as well as her two children, their partners, and two grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stuart and the family at this awful time.
