MINUTES OF THE LOUTH TOWN COUNCIL PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
HELD IN THE OLD COURT ROOM, THE SESSIONS HOUSE, LOUTH
ON TUESDAY 6th MAY 2025

Councillor Mrs. J. Makinson-Sanders (Mrs. JMS) (in the chair).

Present Councillors: Mrs. E. Ballard (Mrs. EB), J. Baskett (JB), J. Drake (JD), H. Filer (HF), D. Hobson (DH), G.E. Horton (GEH).

Councillors not present: None.

The Town Clerk, Mrs. L.M. Phillips, and the Town Clerk’s Assistant, Mrs. S. Chitauro-Adlard, were also present.

H34. Apologies for Absence
There were no apologies for absence.

H35. Declarations of Interest / Dispensations
There were no declarations of interest or requests for dispensations.

H36. Minutes
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED that the notes of the Personnel Committee meeting held on 15th April 2025 be approved as the Minutes.

H37. Closed Session Item
At 8.10pm it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 in order to discuss confidential information relating to a third party in relation to Personnel:
a. Following interviews, it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to a) offer the position of Front Desk Administrator to the Committee’s first choice candidate (subject to references), b) purchase reception furniture and, c) purchase the necessary IT equipment, funds to be taken from the EMR Accommodation/Office Equipment/Storage.

At 8.35pm it was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to move into open session.

 

The Meeting Closed at 8.36pm.
