Louth’s Christmas Tree

The new tree in place in Marketplace ready for decorating

21st November 2019

Louth Town Council started work this morning on creating a wonderful Christmas feature in the Marketplace in Louth, following the generous donation of a 19′ Nordic Fir Christmas tree by Strawson’s Woodland (Cawthorpe and Ravendale).

The street illuminations are up and the brand new crib has been put in place today (built and donated by Louth Building Supplies and partner businesses), and the Holy Family will be added in due course.

Next week, the tree will be decorated with new sets of baubles and LED lights (kindly donated by GRS Electrical) to create a fresh new look for the town ready for the Christmas Market and Lights Switch-On all taking place on Sunday December 1st.

Many businesses have donated and given their services freely towards the Louth Christmas decorations this year, listed above along with North Lincs Engineering, Foxhall Construction, Brocklebank Reclaims and A J Embroidery.
