YOUR MAYOR

ELECTION OF MAYOR 2008

On Friday 15th May 2009 Louth Town Council elected Councillor Keith Sharp to be its Mayor for the 2009/10 year.  Keith joined the Council in January 2005. He is a retired policeman who is now, amongst many other things, the Chairman of the Louth MS Society, a trustee of the Locksley Christian School in Manby and a staunch supporter of the charity Compassion UK as well as also being heavily involved with many other voluntary organisations within the community.

The Mayor of Louth is only too happy to attend local events and those further a field whether they be coffee mornings or official opening ceremonies, if the organisers feel that the presence of the Mayor could raise the profile of their event.  The Mayor of Louth is the first citizen of Louth and part of their role is to promote Louth.   If you would like the Mayor of Louth to attend an event please write to Mrs. L. Phillips, Secretary to the Mayor, Town Hall, Eastgate, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 9NL with an invitation giving full details of the event and any requirements you might have of the Mayor and she will endeavour to meet your requirements.
