TOWN HALL, LOUTH
Louth is situated on the eastern edge of the Wolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Town Hall is a prestigious building constructed by the Mayor and Burgess of Louth in 1854. Pevsner's "Building of England" published in 1964 considered Louth Town Hall to be the architect, Pearson Bellamy's, best work. Between 1988/91, the Town Hall was extensively refurbished and restored to its former splendour, including the upgrading of all major facilities. This beautifully restored Grade II Listed building is available for public hire and provides the perfect setting for any type of event. Ballroom The Ballroom is beautifully decorated with an intricate ceiling and fabulous chandeliers. This room is ideal for weddings, receptions, banquets, dinner dances, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, concerts and fashion shows. Capacity Close

Currently housing the impressive 'Browns Panorama', The
Council Chamber is also an ideal space for meetings, Capacity Close Seating - up to 150 Both the Ballroom and Council Chamber are situated on the first floor and are accessible by both stairs and lift. Catering & Bar Facilities The fully equipped kitchen is available for hire in order that a caterer of your choice can service your event. The bar is also available for hire, however, the sole rights within the Town Hall for the sale of alcoholic drinks, intoxicating liquor, soft drinks, cigarettes, tobacco and sweets have been licenced to Samuels Nightclub. Sporting Activities The above rooms can also be hired for sporting activities, i.e. Aerobics, Tae Kwon Do, Kick Boxing.
