LOUTH AND AREA CHILDREN'S CENTRES

Louth, Binbrook, Holton and Tetney Children's Centres are run by Lincolnshire County Council and family drop in sessions aimed at 0-5 year olds, such as Messy Play, Baby PEEP, Toddler PEEP for 1-2 year olds, Toddler PEEP for 2-3 years, Baby Fun (holidays only), Saturday Family Fun, Rhyme Time, Messy Play, PEEP, Stay and Play and Little Explorers are delivered by employees of the Pre-School Learning Alliance who are all qualified early years practitioners. 

All centres offer:
  • Child and family health services
  • Advice and information for families
  • Childcare and early education
  • Support for parents on a range of issues
  • Training and employment advice
  • Outreach services to children and families not attending the centre.

Each individual centre will offer additional services and activities according to the needs of the community. These can include:

  • parent and toddler groups
  • baby massage sessions
  • messy play sessions
  • baby clinics run by health visitors
  • toy libraries and sensory rooms
  • lone parent support groups
  • twins and multiple birth support groups

and many more! All centres involve parents in planning their activities, and they give you the chance to make new friends and share experiences.

The Pre-School Learning Alliance is a registered charity committed to high quality provision and it recognises that parents are the best educators of their children and through frequent discussion with them they link all their sessions to the children's interests.  Families should register with their most local centre and then they will have access to all of the others.  To register your family with our local centre or for more details please contact:
