GRANTS 2009/10
If you would like to apply for a grant for the
financial year 2009/10 please click on the link below to view Louth Town
Council's Grant Application Form. Please print this off, fill it in using
black ink and return it to the Town Clerk by 12 noon on 30th September 2009 so that your
application can be considered by Louth Town Council.
Please note that the grant application form may
take a minute to open and might not open as your active screen. If this is
the case you should check the task bar (appears at the bottom of your screen to
the right of the 'start' icon and lists the programmes and documents you
currently have open) and click on the appropriate shortcut listed there.

Louth Town Council's Grant Application Form 2009/10
GRANT
APPLICATIONS 2009/10 - Further information
The
Town Council has a fund to give grants to charitable, voluntary and public
sector organisations. This is to support the work carried out by groups who
undertake activities that benefit Louth residents.
The types of organisation that can apply for grants, are for example, Charitable
organisations, Pre-school playgroups, Youth clubs, Sports clubs, Arts groups and
Advice organisations. The fund is intended for projects that will benefit Louth
residents as a whole, and so there are some cases where we are not able to
provide grants. These include General appeals (e.g., national/international
disasters), National organisations without a locally-based group, Individuals
(e.g., sponsorship for individual sportsmen and women).
The Town Council gives variable grants, considering each application on its
merits. The total budget available for 2009/10 is up to £6,000. This means
that most grants are for relatively small amounts.
If you think you might qualify for a grant, you should obtain a Grant
Application form by clicking the link above or from the Town Clerk on 01507
617305. You should then complete the application form and return it to the Town
Council. You will also need to send a copy of your latest accounts.
You must send back your form to reach the
Town Council by not later than 12 noon on 30th September 2009.
