ELECTION OF
MAYOR 2011/12
 On
Friday 20th May 2011 Louth Town Council elected Councillor Brian Burnett to be
its Mayor for the 2011/12 year.
Brian Burnett was
co-opted onto the Council in March 2005. He has previously been the
Chairman of East Lindsey District Council and is still a member of ELDC.
He is a member of the Louth Christian Fellowship and is a Board Member at New
Linx Housing as well as being actively involved in many charities.
The Mayor of Louth is only too happy to
attend local events and those further afield whether they be coffee mornings or
official opening ceremonies, if the organisers feel that the presence of the
Mayor could raise the profile of their event. The Mayor of Louth is the
first citizen of Louth and part of their role is to promote Louth. If you
