ANNUAL TOWN MEETING 2008

Louth's Annual Town Meeting took place on 29th April 2008 in the Town Hall, Louth.  It was attended by over 25 local organisations who had displays around the ballroom for members of the public to peruse.  The evening commenced at 7pm with 1/2 an hour being alloted for mingling, refreshments and perusing of the displays.  The Mayor opened the meeting at 7.30pm and gave an overview of his year in office.  The Town Clerk then gave the Council's Annual Report.  The main presentation of the evening was given by Meridian Links, the local group responsible for producing the Town Plan and it detailed their progress so far.  Immediately after this the floor opened to members of the public to voice their opinions/concerns.  The meeting was well attended and saw turnout of over 100 people.  Please click the links below to view associated files.
